

The beginings of a new storyJust as the heavens opened and the hard stinging rain began to fall the door to the hospital roof opened up. The man stood in the doorway looking at the rain with dread. The waist high coat he wore would hardly protect him from the biting cold of the spring downpour. Then he saw the reason he was there. Sitting on the edge of the building was a man in a long brown trench coat and fedora. Brown, I presume. stated the man in the fedora. I have seen the rise of nations and have seen them crumble. I have seen man at its best and I have seen him at his its worst. I have seen kings and presidents crowned and assassinated.
I have been called many things. At Salem they called me a Warlock. The Spanish called me a Demon during the Inquisition. The Japanese called me Akuma or Devil. It


It was funny for a whileI was just minding my own business Out for a daily run, Maybe a bite to eat. Then they came along. They stared, they laughed, They pushed, they shoved. Then one of them got this crazy idea. Wouldn't it be funny, Oh, and it was For a little while. I got to see the world From a different angle, But now the joke is over The novelty has worn off They have all left, Laughing all the while While me, I'm left To figure out,It was funny for a while

My Next MealThe moon and my headlights Pierce the stagnant sea of blackness. On the fringes of my vision I see the gnarled hands of leafless trees Reach for me as I race by. I never saw it. As it magically appeared running, Bolting across the road. And under my tires. The carcass rolls, tumbles Across the yellow lines.My Next Meal
